I first met Zoe in 2001 whilst she spent 2 weeks at the Donkey Sanctuary where I work. From the outset, it was clear that Zoe had a natural affinity with animals, particularly with some of our donkeys that had behavioural problems. We soon struck up a friendship and I asked Zoe to look after my animals while I went on holiday abroad for two weeks; a horse, 2 cats, two fish, two rats and two guinea pigs!

I have always been very particular about who looks after my pets, and animals are the best judges of character. On my return, all of my pets gave me that ‘oh, you’re back’ look. They were so settled and looked well, as did their differing variety of ‘homes’. Since then, I have always asked Zoe and Chris to care for my pets whenever I am away. Sometimes this can be at very short notice due to my job.

Over the years, sadly several of my pets have passed away but not once have I ever been concerned that either Zoe or Chris would not know what to do in an emergency or how to care for them when their health was beginning to fail.

Not only do I trust them both implicitly with the care they provide the animals, but it is the little extras they have done for me without me having to ask that show they genuinely care: picking up the post, drawing the curtains, etc. which is obviously the thing to do when away from home.

I have already recommended them to friends, colleagues and neighbours who need someone to care for their pets and homes. Whether it be large or small animals, their commonsense, calm and understanding approach will always mean that the animals in their care receive the best.

Chris and Zoe Price have looked after our three pedigree dogs on several occasions both for weekend breaks and longer annual holidays.

They have provided an excellent service and we are totally content to leave our, much loved, pets in their very capable hands.  When they visit to pick keys up etc.  it is obvious how much the dogs love them and they carry out our instructions with painstaking thoroughness.  They keep us informed regularly that things are well at home and nothing is too much trouble for them.

I have used All Animals over the past year on a number of occasions. Each time, whether they were staying in my home for a period of time or simply walking my two dogs, I have found their service more than satisfactory.

When I have been away from home, the longest period for a week, I have returned to find the dogs looking happy and contented, well groomed and exercised. In fact, they have seemed to miss me very little.  I have found the house in good order, tidy and clean and importantly, secure.

On other days when I have left them to be walked they have returned to me looking happy.

I thoroughly recommend the service All Animals gives to pet owners.  Zoë and Chris are trustworthy, pleasant and a delight to have looking after well loved pets. They obviously love them as much as their owners do.

He seemed rather unconcerned and obviously quite happy with his surroundings during his stay and has settled back home as if nothing had taken place.

I have pleasure in writing in support the reference for All Animals and hope with this reference that my brief testimonial will present this ‘team’ positively and commend them to you.

I first met Chris and Zoe when we were initially looking to find suitable ‘animal sitters’ whilst we were away on holiday in America for three weeks, after our first meeting I knew Chris and Zoe where the ‘team’ for the job, our dogs settled with them immediately.

Chris took our dogs out for a walk and they took to his kindness and enthusiasm and returned to him without any hesitation.

They have definitely in my opinion, taken on the role of the ‘perfect’ animal sitters, we have since returned from our holiday to find the dogs and our guinea pigs extremely well looked after, and even had people whom I meet on walks, comment on how happy the dogs were, running and playing, tails wagging.  The house upon return was spotless, nothing out of place, better, than when we left!

Next time we are away they will be re-booked by us, and highly recommended to our friends.

In summary, Chris and Zoe’s competence is assured and yet perhaps their greatest asset is a genuine rapport and cheerfulness that assists this line of profession.
